His project involved a duplex spanning two narrow urban lots in central Denver, with a retaining wall planned across the entire front of the property, excluding walkway steps.
The city required a clear, scaled drawing with precise dimensions for zoning review.

The plan needed to focus only on the front portion of the property, including the street name, existing public sidewalk, walkways, steps, and a proposed 18” retaining wall set back 12” from the sidewalk.
To support accuracy, Ross provided two detailed hand-drawn sketches with measurements and explanations.
